The SearchIt started as an email to a friend: "I'm looking for work. Keep me in mind?" Then I realized how boring it is to get that email. I thought perhaps I could make this a little less boring, and along the way create a chance to model exactly where it is I shine and what I love to do. Namely, to share ideas, tell stories in a way that's more beautiful, and inspire people to take action—maybe even people who aren't already my friends! So, my inner third-grader emerged—the girl who couldn't simply write the assigned list of spelling word sentences, but had to join them all into one free-form, original, illustrated poem.
